Garmin Nuvi 1300 Series GPS
|  | | Garmin Nuvi 1300 | Garmin announced the Garmin Nuvi 1300 series and Nuvi 1200 series in March 2009 with projected release in the second half of 2009. Amazon.com has announced the release of these units as June 28, 2009. The Nuvi 1300 series is thinner, lighter, and less expensive with more capability than previous wide screen Garmin Nuvi's. This new line of Garmin GPS is 25% thinner than the previous models (0.6" thick versus 0.8" thick for older Nuvi's). This also reduces the weight from 6.1 ounces for older units to 5.7 ounces for the Garmin Nuvi 1300 series.
