This is a make over for the Nuvi 200 series. Garmin has discontinued the Nuvi 300 series and most of the Nuvi 600 series units. Garmin has taken many of the original models of the Nuvi 200 series models and replaced the zero (0) on the end with a five (5). The newer Nuvi 200 has now become the Nuvi 205. The Nuvi 200 has not been discontinued, but I project that the Nuvi 205 will take its place. All of these new units include optional MSN Direct services. The Nuvi Comparison Chart on this website has been updated to include all the new Garmin Nuvi units. A new Nuvi 2x5 page has also been added to give you additional information. The discontinued Nuvi 300 series models are Nuvi 350, Nuvi 360, and Nuvi 370. The discontinued Nuvi 600 series models are Nuvi 600, Nuvi 610, Nuvi 650, Nuvi 660 and Nuvi 670. As of this date, the Nuvi 680 is the only Nuvi 600 series model still active. The only models of the StreetPilot line that are still active are the StreetPilot c580 and the StreetPilot 7200. Garmin has added some new higher end models to the Nuvi 200 product line and it appears that these are to take the place of the very popular Nuvi 300 series models. I always found it odd that the Nuvi 260 spoke street names but did not have some of the extras that were in the Nuvi 350 yet the Nuvi 350 was less expensive than the Nuvi 260. It seemed that Garmin was selling against itself on some of these models. The Nuvi 350 is still sold on Amazon, and is still the best buy at a price of $199.99.
